Refund and Return Policy

A Soul That Dances Workshops

All bookings for workshops run by @asoulthatdances are final. Please read the following carefully before purchasing:

  • No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or non-attendance for any reason.

  • No Transfers or Credits: Workshop bookings are non-transferable to another person, date, or event. We do not issue class credits.

  • In the Unlikely Event of Cancellation: If a workshop is cancelled by @asoulthatdances, participants will be offered a full refund via site credit/discount code.

  • In the event that a refund is issued, the processing/site fees will not be refunded. 

By booking a spot in any @asoulthatdances workshop, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms.

Thank you for shopping with A Soul That Dances. Our pieces are produced in small, intentional batches. Because of the nature of our offerings, we kindly ask that you read the following policy carefully before purchasing.

All Sales Are Final

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect sizing or colour preference

  • Accidental or duplicate orders

  • Delayed delivery due to the postal service or customs

We encourage customers to choose carefully and reach out with any product or sizing questions before purchasing.

Product Variations

As many of our items are handcrafted or made in limited runs:

  • Slight colour, print, or texture variations from photos are normal

  • We do our best to represent all items as accurately as possible

Faulty or Incorrect Items

In compliance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), you are entitled to a replacement or refund if your item is:

  • Faulty or damaged through no fault of your own

  • Significantly different from the product description

  • Incorrectly shipped (e.g. wrong item)

To report an issue, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

How to Request a Return for a Faulty Item

Please email us at asoulthatdances@gmail.com with:

  1. Your order number

  2. Clear photos of the issue

  3. A detailed description of the fault or error

We will assess your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

Conditions for Returns (Faulty Items Only)
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Must be returned with any original tags or packaging (if applicable)

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed

  • We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet the conditions above

 

Shipping Delays & Delivery Issues

Please understand we are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by postal services or customs

  • Lost or stolen packages once dispatched
    We will always provide a tracking number and assist you in following up with the courier where possible.
